Psychotherapy for adults of all ages in Alpharetta, Georgia

Individual and family counseling for adults of all ages.

Virtually serving Greater Georgia, South Carolina & Florida.

Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy or therapy is a process whereby psychological problems and maladaptive behaviors are addressed and treated with the trained ear and objective perspective of a mental health professional. Gaining insight to problematic thoughts and behaviors, identifying strengths, problem solving, processing overwhelming feelings and learning healthy coping skills are just some of the ways therapy can help to promote growth and change.  Building trust and rapport between client and therapist is believed within most therapeutic modalities to be the most important factor for productive therapy.

I provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere where I meet my clients at their ‘stage of change’ with kindness, empathy, and non-judgment. Each client will participate in the development of their individualized treatment plan. I draw from several therapeutic modalities including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); I utilize the Biopsychosocialspiritual Lens when treating my clients that struggle with chemical dependency/addiction. When deemed appropriate, yoga and mindfulness complement my talk therapy process.
